Abstract

Two groups, including 205 Chernobyl wreckers and 88 staff workers exposed to ionizing radiation, were examined. In the former group, radiation doses were 0.005-0.349 Gy, in the latter one--0.0001-0.011 Gy. An examination was conducted according to standard diagnostic neuropsychological tests proposed by A.S. Luria. Both groups were found to exhibit deviations of different degree. Memory, acoustic-perceptual and, partially, thinking functions were most vulnerable.
