Abstract

This paper provides (i) simplified operational procedures for the appraisal of rural roads (RRs) in transportation, rural development and agricultural projects, and (ii) issues often encountered in the preparation and implementation of projects with rural road components. This paper was originally presented at the PTRC Summer Annual Meetings, July, 1984.
