Abstract

Early diagnosis is imperative in the quest for cures for or prevention of diseases. Medical doctors nowadays can measure a multiplicity of physical determinants such as blood pressure, insulin levels, etc. The sooner this is done the sooner therapy can begin and the sooner therapy begins the greater the chances of success, no matter what the disease. That is why self-sufficient home monitoring and emergency aid systems are becoming ever more important in medical health care.
