Abstract

The need to develop and exercise a viable plan to cope with a critical incident has become mandatory, according to the author, who in this article presents a prescription for such a plan that includes beginning with a policy, preparing by training, exercising your plan to discover strengths and weaknesses, and then applying the lessons learned to improve and establish a strategy for recovery.
