Abstract

The present study deals with the relation shop between the level of economic welfare and the level of driving violations in Urmia. In addition to the relationship between the level of economic welfare and the level of driving delinquency, some other subordinate aims have been studied. Statistical population encompasses all delinquent drivers who caused some accidents in Urmia from Khordad 1, 1387 AP until Azar 30, 1387 AP. These drivers totaled 27/317, according to the statistics department in Urmia Traffic Police Department. Sampling was done using Morgan Table, and the sample consisted of 380 drivers.
The data are gathered through two different approaches. In order to study the level of economic welfare of drivers, a list of questionnaires was prepared. Then, using the SPSS software, the durability coefficient was obtained as 0/75. In the next step, to obtain the level of accidental driving delinquency, the data from the Urmia Traffic Police Department were used. After the data were analyzed, the relationship between the levels of economic welfare and driving delinquency was shown to be meaningful.
