Abstract

Professor Alan Glasper discusses the new goverment initiative which aims to tackle the number of suicides ocurring in the UK. There are many different reasons people choose to take their own lives and it is important that nurses have a good understanding and awareness of these in order to contribute to the reduction of the problem.
