Abstract

In view of the fact that 70 percent of Americans drink regularly, it is important to keep in mind that alcohol is a potent pharmacologic agent that can cause a variety of emotional and physical signs and symptoms. Physician awareness is the name of the game. Better health for patients is the reward.
