Abstract

Since the beginning of 1976, a multi-disciplinary study of children at risk of physical and emotional damage in their homes has been in progress in Uppsala, Sweden. In this paper an account is given of disturbances and symptoms shown by the children. The term "neglect" is used as a common designation for abuse, neglect and unfavourable home conditions.
