Abstract

Ministers and officials from 193 countries adopted a resolution at the annual World Health Assembly that identifies for the first time child injuries as a major threat to child survival and a neglected public health problem. They called for urgent action to prioritise prevention and care of child injuries in health programmes in developing countries.
