Abstract

"The type of cardiovascular reaction of Ss during experimentally induced stress was related to questions about childhood discipline and control by parents. The Ss describing their fathers as strict and dominant disciplinarians experienced a norepinephrine cardiovascular reaction during experimentally induced stress whereas Ss describing their fathers as mild and nondominant disciplinarians experienced an epinephrine-like reaction."
