Abstract

Supporting the thesis that the drop in the average IQ of the applicants to the Philips Industrial Training School at Eindhoven during 1944 and 1945 was due to the influences of the war is the presently reported fact that the average IQ values for the classes of applicants for the years 1948, 1949, and 1950 have already achieved the prewar level.
