Abstract

The aim of the present research, is a comparison of infants and teenagers contrastive styles in confronting with life problems and events in Ramhormoz so,400 male and female (elementary,guidance, high school and pre-university) students were selected as a statistical society and as a multi -phase clustering .in this research, the CSEs were used for collecting data as well as the T-test of the two separated groups were applied for analyzing them, the results researches, at(p < 0/5)showed that:
- There was a significant difference between infants and teenagers contrastive styles,this difference was related to that, the teenagers use avoidance and abandoning styles more than other styles, but in the logical, emotional styles,there was not a significant different between them.
- The difference was significant in usage of the contrastive styles between the male and female infants, this has not a significant difference among the logical, emotional and avoidance styles but the difference was related to the abandoning styles, the boys use it more.
- Between the male and female teenagers' contrastive styles, the difference was significant, because of using more of contrastive, avoidance and emotional styles by females.
