Abstract

Three signs are described and illustrated which could be possible alternatives toward developing a standard format for 2-lane exit signs at interchanges with crossing arterials. The formats are discussed, and it is hoped that it will stimulate thought and research so that an appropriate guideline, and possibly a policy can be established.
