Abstract

This proposed equipment standard was developed by ITE Technical Council Committee 7S-2D. The purpose of the specification is to describe the general and specific requirements for delineators and object markers used as guidance devices to indicate obstructions within or adjacent to the roadway. The general aspects of the specification covers quality assurance, submittals, support methods, measurement, and payment. Part 2 of the specification covers general and specific requirements for three types of delineators and two types of object marker reflector units. Each of these areas are covered here. Installation of the same is also covered.
