Abstract

The prospective decrease of portion of economically and reproductively active cohorts in the population structure as related to the demographic development of Russia is discussed. The dynamics of accumulation of risks of premature death and negative aspects of natality is demonstrated. The significance of qualitative prior to quantitative benchmarks in this area is substantiated.
