Abstract

Article describing Tempe, Arizona's "three-pronged" strategy for managing its energy programs. This strategy has been applied to parks, recreational areas, and municipal facilities, and has saved thousands of dollars, and immeasurable energy that would otherwise have been wasted. The three areas of the program are: efficient lighting, building automation systems, and design review.
