Abstract

Data providing test results from head-on vehicle/fixed pole impacts were evaluated to analyze the responses of different makes/models to narrow fixed object impacts. These data were taken from several NHTSA tests reported in recent issues of the Accident Reconstruction Journal and from SAE paper 920605 by Gustov Nystrom and Garrison Kost.
