Abstract

Youth violence is a complex problem. The recent youth related violent incidents are of great impact taking in consideration the emotional costs to victims, their families and to the health and safety of citizens; as well as the economic cost to society. It is a major public health concern that requires participation, collaboration and integration of efforts from parents, citizens and professionals from different disciplines.
