Abstract

This case study examines the activities of a physician with Alzheimer's disease, his procedures used to help retain personal memories and his sharing of the memory saving techniques with other people diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Detailed, specific and practical methods of memory retention are provided. This report is based upon in-depth interviews with the patient's children and an examination of the physician's daily journal.
