Abstract

A brief description of art therapy is presented as an introduction to one specific an therapy program which uses the anof anelderly Kansas womanas a therapeutic tool. An illustrative sample from the program is given along with a discussion of theoretical issues relevant to the use of an therapy with elderly clients. Theconcepts used in development of this program are generalizable for use with other artists in a similar manner.
