Abstract

This paper presents a description of perceptual learning styles and the seven elements which comprise the perceptual modality. Several techniques that activities managers and aging adult learners can use to help identify their dominant learning style are presented. In addition, implications for activities managers in program planning, counseling, and instructing aging adults in various educational activities are discussed.
