Abstract

Society makes some dismal and restrictive assumptions about the second half of life which are not necessarily valid. This is a call for a healthier approach to the later years: one which acceptsonly the constraints that are realand expects an interesting time ahead. with many opportunities for further growth. Educators of adults may be able to help.
