Abstract

Increasing numbers of family members are required to provide primary, home-based care for older relatives with chronic disabilities and diseases. Family caregivers tend to face reduced opportunities for leisure. This article examines programs that can be used by recreation and activity specialists to increase leisure opportunities for caregivers.
