Abstract

Extending the health education model to residential living apartments forseniors can provide a vital link in the continu- ity of care for the frail elderly. This paper describes a prevention model to promote health and reduce stress for residents rn a senior public housing unit. The assessment measurements, program con- tent and results are discussed alon with suggestions for conducting health promotion programs for el f ers.
