Abstract

This Act provides as follows: "1) The presumption of criminal law is that a boy under the age of 14 is incapable of sexual intercourse (whether natural or unnatural) is hereby abolished." The Act comes into force on 20 September 1993. It applies to England and Wales, but not the rest of the United Kingdom, and does not cover acts carried out before the Act comes into force.
