Abstract

Analysis of regulatory requirements pertaining to toxicological safety of people during fires is presented along with the most important factors responsible for aggravated toxicological situation unspecified in these documents. The necessity to further extend the database on fire-specific factors and production of highly toxic gases is emphasized. The close relationship between variations of fire-related threats to the human health and results of relevant forensic medical examination is demonstrated.
