Abstract

The examination deals with the emotional climate in the family and looks into the reasons for disturbances thereof, with special emphasis on the significant role of alcoholism and the relations between the parents. Reference is made to the frequency of disturbed familial relations in suicide attempts among young people, 109 children and adolescents under 16, and possible prophylaxis is dealt with.
