Abstract

CARNA's Nursing Practice Standards and the CNA Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses support RNs in their practice and provide guidance when questions about practice arise, facilitate problem-solving and provide a focus on the values, beliefs and responsibilities that RNs have when providing nursing care, even at those times when it may seem that a patient may not want their help.
