N2  - In their latest study of delinquent behavior the Gluecks proposed an eclectic plan of research. Their basic assumption is erroneous, leading to a method of work which invites challenge. The unsound method inevitably leads to erroneous conclusions: their apparatus for the prediction of delinquency and their "causal law" are invalid.<p />
