N2  - Based on a discussion between changes of values and psychic insecurity and prevalence of mental disorders in Eastern Germany. 41 semi-in-patients of the Psychiatric Clinic in Halle were examined. The patients gave a self-assessment, and injuries to health as a result of the political change were assumed in a different manner. Between 82% of 'neurotic' patients and 25% of 'borderline' patients supposed a linkage between their injuries and the political change.
