This article reports findings from a qualitative study in Mexico exploring the Mental Health Facilitator (MHF) program, a population-based curriculum created to respond to global mental health needs, and address mental health care disparities and the resulting burden in international communities. The present study explores experiences of individuals trained in the MHF curriculum (facilitators) and those who have received services and care from those trained as facilitators. © 2018, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
