N2  - In this article we reviewed the literature on the connection between childhood violence and suicidal behaviors in future. It have been conducted many studies that confirm that connection. Most of them referred to physical and sexual maltreatment. Emotional and physical neglect are less popular forms of abuse to investigate, but some studies refer to neglect indirectly. The attributes of the victim, form and how long the violence takes place, all this can increase the risk the suicide attempts in future. © 2007 by Elsevier Urban & Partner.<p /> <p>Language: pl</p>
