N2  - Recently the number of patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD) is increasing in Japan. BPD represents a pervasive pattern of mood instability, unstable and intense interpersonal relationships, impulsivity, and frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment. Borderline patients are reported to form intense relationships with the therapist, and counter transference can also be a problem. We reported on a patient with BPD who attempted suicide frequently. We provided new type of team care consisting of an administrative doctor, a psychotherapist and nursing stuff, which we found to be effective in diluting transference.<p /> <p>Language: ja</p>
