N2  - Crisis psychotherapy is still hardly commented and implemented. We wish to describe the considerations and parrticularities of its application in the work of the psychologist. We think of the treatment in the crisis period as a therapeutic experiment. It is seen by the patient as a precise condensed theorico-clinical object-therapy that is concretly perceived by him/her. Its function over and above short term apaesement of psychic distress is the engagement for long term therapy. Our practice is placed in the context of community psychiatry and our approach is phenomenological. Notions of strangeness in the care relationship, of therapeutic alliance, of confdence and attachment are developed. © Médecine &Hygiène.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>
