N2  - After establishing what is meant by the danger index (AF - accident frequency) of a sport and how it is measured, the author analyses a variety of sports for their degree of danger, on the basis of SPORTASS charts of Italian accidents. It is concluded that a distinction should be drawn between general and specific danger, depending on the parameters considered.<p />
