TY - JOUR PY - 2023// TI - Editorial: The neural systems of fairness, retaliation, and aggression JO - Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry A1 - Stoddard, Joel SP - ePub EP - ePub VL - ePub IS - ePub N2 - "Not fair!" is a call to action regularly heard by parents and mental health professionals. Indeed, it's not just people, Dr. Frans de Waal charmed the world with a TED talk in which monkeys took umbrage and aggressed in response to unfairness. 2 Knowing this, Mathur and colleagues 3 used unfairness and retaliation to illuminate the complex neural circuity of aggression in adolescents.
