Understandings of those tire characteristics would be essential for those of vehicle behavior; however, detailed, accurate and reproducible contact force distribution measurement technology under severe rolling conditions could not be seen. Therefore, dynamic tire contact patch measurement and visualization system has been developed. Application of the measurement system for the development of the latest eco-tire is presented in this paper.
