N2  - This study analyzes driver's following characteristics with a pre-preceding vehicle in front of a preceding vehicle. Driving simulator experiments are examined with several subjects who are required to follow the preceding vehicle with/without the visible pre-preceding vehicle. The multiple regression analysis is applied to identify which information the driver uses to follow the vehicles. Experimental results show the subjects follow the preceding vehicle with information not only on the following vehicle but also on the pre-preceding vehicle.<p /> <p>Language: ja</p>
