It is necessary to design systems based on information that human driver perceives and gives better feeling of confidence. In order to clarify the information, we focused on optical sensation. Optical flow on retina reflects vehicle movement and eye movement. In this paper, numerical simulation was done to analyze the characteristic of optical flow, and relation to the driver models proposed in the past are also discussed.
