N2  - ITS demand analysis is one of the fundamental steps of ITS plan. The application of fuzzy cluster analysis in analyzing ITS demand is studied for the first time, and the corresponding program is compiled by VBA program. Some ITS demands during the Beijing Olympic Games are analyzed based on data that have been gathered by expert survey in the process of the Beijing Olympic Transportation Plan. Three elementary results during the analyzing process have highly consistency, and the ultimate result reflects the characteristic and relation of those ITS demands. Therefore, the practicability of Fuzzy cluster analysis is demonstrated.<p />
