N2  - The control of on-ramp is the most extensive expressway strategy. The on-ramps include isolated control and coordinated control according to their correlation. The paper discusses theory and method of on-ramp control of the above mentioned two control modes, summarizes features and applicability of various control theories, and introduces the classical control mode and its application of each control strategy.<p />
