N2  - Considering the realistic status of ship encountering typhoon, the paper develops a new method that draws the relation diagram of position between ship and typhoon by the theory of radar plotting to get the distance to closest point of approach and corrects the diagram with accuracy of typhoon forecast. Of course, these work are based on the weather information received by ship. This paper analyses the determination of methods of different avoiding typhoon and the relative problems to be noted when avoiding typhoon based on the encounter situation between ship and typhoon. It thinks about the application to methods of avoiding typhoon and provides an important reference for mariners to avoid typhoon.<p />
