This paper introduces several perspectives regarding the role of the teacher in a multicultural society, one who is involved not only in academic aspects, but also in complex socio-political environments, prompted to manifest his or her qualities as a commendable figure. It will also examine the special case study of training such teachers against the background of a multicultural existence with moral obligations in the State of Israel.
