Intraoral graphite implantation may cause this pigmentation through accidental injury with a graphite pencil. The purpose of this paper is to report an unusual case of graphite tattoo involving the anterior palate region in a seven-year-old girl. A diagnosis was made based on clinical and radiographic examinations and histopathology features. This report also highlights the importance of differential diagnosis and management of oral benign and malignant pigmented lesions in children.
