The pattern of injury sustained by the road users may vary from region to region. The present study was carried out in a tertiary care center of North Karnataka region with an aim to study the pattern and distribution of injuries due to road traffic accidents in this region. The study revealed that males were more vulnerable than females, highest incidence was among the occupants of two wheeler, abrasions were common type of injury and lower limbs injuries were common.
