N2  - The evaluation of a juvenile diversion program by Quay and Love ( 1977) is criticized for employing follow-up periods of differing durations. This problem is seen to be particularly relevant to community corrections. It is concluded that followup periods must be simultaneous and equal in duration in order to avoid problems in validly interpreting the results.
