The presentation will focus on the measurable biological factors that we currently assess in the study of adolescent suicide attempters. This includes platelet serotonin binding, plasma serotonin, genetics of serotonin related polymorphisms and gene-environment interactions. Some new data and future directions in research will be discussed.
