The Family Advocacy Program is designed to prevent and intervene to mitigate future violence. Some of the Family Advocacy Program assessment tools are limited in their ability to identify contributing factors of situational couple violence. This article proposes incorporating the Korem Profiling System, a rapid assessment tool, to help identify underlying causes of situational couple violence and provide appropriate interventions to prevent future incidents.
