N2  - 31 cases of traumatic diaphragmatic injury were treated in our department from Jan. 1977 to Jan. 1986. Among them, 18 were caused by blunt trauma and 13 by penetrated wound. 17 of the cases accompanied with diaphragmatic hernia. 80% of the cases (25/31) were complicated trauma. As a result, 28 of them recovered with only 3 died. The authors described the mechanism and characteristics of diaphragmatic trauma as well as its diagnosis and treatment.<p /> <p>Language: zh</p>
