TY - JOUR PY - 1988// TI - Substance abuse among medical trainees: current problems and evolving resources JO - American journal of drug and alcohol abuse encompassing all addictive disorders A1 - Westermeyer, J. SP - 393 EP - 404 VL - 14 IS - 3 N2 - Substance abuse among medical students and residents, while not new, has increased in frequency, appears earlier, and is more apt to involve illicit drugs. These changes have stimulated certain innovative approaches to such problems. Both these recent problems as well as recent responses for dealing with them are presented.
